The volume slider doesn't change my notification volume.
NotiSounds uses AppleScript to control the system alert volume. Make sure you have granted the app Automation access: go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation and ensure NotiSounds has access to System Events.
The toggle is grey but I still hear notifications.
The toggle controls whether NotiSounds manages the volume, not the system's notification setting. To completely disable all notification sounds, drag the slider to 0% or use the toggle to mute.
NotiSounds doesn't appear in my menu bar after installing.
Make sure the app is installed in /Applications. If you see a security warning on first launch, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. The app is ad-hoc signed for local distribution.
How do I uninstall NotiSounds?
First, disable Start at Login from the menu bar if it's enabled. Then drag NotiSounds.app from /Applications to the Trash. That's it, no other files are created outside the app bundle.
